When Qing and Vinnter launch a joint offering - we solve the entire chain

New legal requirements. New standards. A roadmap that is already full.

When new requirements and standards land on the desks of tech-driven companies, many feel exactly the same: “How are we even going to tackle this? We are already busy with the roadmap.” Then a well-oiled collaboration between requirements specialists and technical developers becomes a real game changer.

We brought together Johanna Ternström, CEO of Vinnter, and Jonas Länje, CEO of Qing, to talk about their collaboration - which has become a safe path through complex regulations:

"We complement each other. Qing is strong in interpreting regulations and working methods - while Vinnter has technical specialists who can build secure solutions and access control. This allows us to take on the entire chain for the customer."

  • Johanna, Vinnter

"It is common for you to get help with part of the problem - requirements interpretation or technical implementation. But we work together from both sides. That is what makes it so strong."

  • Jonas, Qing

When a request came in that required expertise outside of Vinnter's then core team, we didn't take a quick no for an answer. Instead, we identified a possible solution - and reached out to Qing. That was the starting point for a collaboration with Qing that has since resulted in several successful projects, including for companies such as Icomera and Assa Abloy.

In the projects, we bring together people who are used to working in teams with each other, and have a well-established model and working method. Together, they work to interpret regulations, identify gaps and build solutions that are both technically sound and meet standards.

This is not the most obvious collaboration at first glance. But that's exactly why it's so strong. Competencies that traditionally reside in different parts of an organization - QA, regulatory, R&D - are brought together here in a common working method. The result is wholeness, pace and security.

"It's not always obvious that the person who interprets the rules and the person who builds the systems work so closely together - but that's where the magic happens. And we actually have a lot of fun together."

  • Johanna

"In large organizations, requirements and development are often far apart. We create a bridge between them. And the customer gets a package solution. It's quite nice to just be able to sit back."

  • Jonas

What we notice time and time again is that customers appreciate that we take responsibility for everything from requirements to technical implementation. We reduce complexity. We coordinate. We solve.

Almost everything that contains software must relate to cybersecurity. So the next time a new set of regulations lands in the middle of your roadmap, you know who to call.
