We are not looking for a specific technology stack, but are open to both embedded and system developers. What matters most to us is that you have worked in systems where hardware, software and connectivity meet, and that you have an understanding of how the whole thing is connected.

About the role
As a developer at Vinnter, you work with the development of connected products where the software is often close to the hardware.
We have a wide range of assignments and work with both small start-ups and larger global companies. Many of our customers are located in Gothenburg, but we also work nationally and internationally, for example with customers in the USA.
We operate in several industries. A large part of our projects are in industry in various ways, where companies want to digitize their products or develop new connected services. We also work in areas such as medical technology, defense, infrastructure and transport & vehicles.
Our assignments vary. Sometimes we work on longer assignments at a customer's site as part of a team. In other projects we step in as specialists to solve specific technical challenges. We also run in-house projects where we develop products together from our own office.
What makes our work special is that the focus is not primarily on code or technology choices. It is just as much about understanding the system as a whole and finding solutions that work in reality.

Experience and skills
For this role, we are looking for a senior developer with several years of experience who can take technical responsibility in projects - either by leading the development work or by contributing as a specialist in more complex parts of the solution.
We are looking for someone who has experience in developing connected systems and who has your focus either in embedded development or cloud/connected services.
You do not need to know everything below, but we believe that you have experience in several of the following areas:
- development of embedded software
- cloud services and backend for connected systems
- wireless communication such as WiFi, Bluetooth or mobile connectivity
- work in agile development environments
- sensors and actuators
It is an advantage if you have also worked with electronics design.
The most important thing, however, is that you have experience in IoT or connected systems and an understanding of how the entire solution is connected, from hardware and firmware to cloud and services.
You probably have a technical education in, for example, computer engineering or electrical engineering. This could be an engineering degree, a university degree or equivalent experience.
