Yesterday, Vinngroup gathered 75 participants from business, the public sector and academia in Gothenburg for a new Vinn Explore event. This time, Vice Admiral Jonas Haggren, stationed at NATO Headquarters in Brussels, was a guest to talk about Sweden's role in NATO, the changing security situation and why speed and delivery capability are crucial in today's total defense.
After an insightful lecture, a panel discussion led by Anders Granfeldt, Vinn Defence, followed, where Haggren spoke with Linda Larsson (CISO City of Gothenburg) and Matti Ahlqvist, MBA (Executive Director, AstraZeneca Gothenburg).
What came up again in the conversation was the question of time. How do we create processes that can run faster? How do we ensure that critical societal functions such as energy supply and pharmaceutical production are protected already in peacetime? And above all: how can defense, business, research and the public sector find common paths to build a more robust society?
