We are now looking for a senior full-stack developer to join the team in Gothenburg.
About the role
Expect a varied working week. One project may have you step in as a specialist to solve a specific problem, while the next has you working with a client over a longer period as a key part of their team. In between, there are also projects developed in-house at Vinnter.
You will often work in small teams, close to both colleagues and clients. As a senior developer you are given a great deal of trust and are involved from the first discussions about solution and architecture, through development and deployment, to continued evolution of the product.
Many of our projects are about IoT and connected products, where software meets the physical world.
The technologies vary from project to project, but you can expect to encounter React/TypeScript, Python, Java, C#/.NET, AWS, Azure, microservices, CI/CD and MQTT, among others.
Who are we hoping to find?
Someone who has gathered a good deal of experience but is still curious. You are a sharp full-stack developer and systems thinker who likes to see the big picture, takes ownership and discusses solutions together with others. At the same time you are unpretentious and think it matters more that the solution is right than that you are.
You enjoy getting close to the client and understanding more than what is written in a requirements specification. What are they trying to solve, what needs to work better, and is there perhaps a better path than the one first imagined? You are driven by finding solutions that help the client succeed.
We also hope you are looking for something long-term and want to grow together with both clients and colleagues over time.
Experience of IoT or product-oriented systems development is a particular merit. We also value an interest in cybersecurity, experience of leading others, or an ability to spot new business opportunities with the client.
