About the roles

As we continue to grow and the field of AI becomes even more interesting and important to us as well as our customers, we are looking for a talented and motivated individual to join us to build our AI expertise in the context of developing IoT solutions. Your job will be to define the area in relation to IoT, work out methodology, find new opportunities and customers and be able and willing to work as a senior developer in the area of IoT and AI.

Your primary long-term mission will be to build a great team focused on the difficult task of building advanced AI solutions for our demanding customers in the IoT arena.

Placement

The service is located in Gothenburg, Sweden. We apply a modern approach to the hybrid office, but it is a requirement that you live in the vicinity of Gothenburg (within 10 miles) as we are frequently or over time required to be at the customers’ offices. We are flexible in our employees’ choice of workplace, as long as it is in line with the client’s requirements in your current assignment.

Responsibilities of the role

1. Define team responsibilities and capabilities required to become a leading consulting firm in AI and IoT development.
2. Involved in recruiting more AI-related teammates.
3. Participate in sales efforts, attract customers and write quotes.
4. Integrate AI technologies, including machine learning and deep learning, into IoT systems to enable predictive analytics, pattern recognition, autonomous decision-making, and adaptive behavior.
5. Design, develop and deploy IoT solutions that leverage sensors, data collection systems, cloud infrastructure and AI algorithms to enable remote monitoring, automation and smart capabilities.
6. Developing scalable software components and microservices to manage data collection, analysis, real-time control and communication between IoT devices and cloud platforms.
7. System integration and testing to ensure seamless functionality across the IoT ecosystem. Perform unit testing, integration testing and system testing to identify and fix any issues.
8. Implement security measures and encryption methods to protect IoT devices, data transmissions and user information against threats and intrusions. Follow IoT security and data protection standards and best practices.
9. Writing technical documentation, user guides and reports to describe system architecture, design decisions, implemented features and performance analysis.

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in team-based environments.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with customers, stakeholders, teammates and sister companies in Vinngroup.
• Previous experience working on IoT projects and AI implementations.
• Certifications in IoT and AI-related fields.
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques, neural networks, deep learning methods and common AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or scikit-learn.
• Experience working with cloud platforms and services for data management, cloud computing and AI model training, such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C/C++, Java or similar for IoT devices and backend development.
• Understanding of IoT protocols and wireless communication technologies, such as MQTT, CoAP, Zigbee, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

Education and experience

Bachelor, Master or PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related fields. Relevant training and experience in the development of systems involving Artificial Intelligence.
